Laurel began her journey building Getaway Day Agency over ten years ago with a desire to compliment the unique lifestyle inside of professional baseball, while achieving meaningful work, and living family life.

Laurel is also a Certified Fundraising Executive and is grateful to use her philanthropic passion assisting the Sisters of the Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity, supporting their missions around the world.

In December 2024, she and the sisters completed a $7.5M capital campaign in Corpus Christi, Texas. With a heart to serve others, and a spirit of entrepreneurship, she is currently working on her business venture, Daily Devotive. Laurel resides near the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia, alongside her favorite person, Steve, and blessed with three sons, Samson, Solomon, and Simon Peter.
